This week I decided to step outside my comfort zone and challenge myself to use stamp sets that are not my style. Specifically, Gorgeous Grunge and Yippee-Skippee!. I decided to also challenge myself to use the new In Colors. Here’s the card I came up with:
- Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss go together quite nicely
- Gorgeous Grunge was used as a background stamp on the white top note
The results – I love the new In Colors of Blackberry Bliss and Lost Lagoon together and the saying from Yippee-Skippee!. While I’m still a bit shy using Gorgeous Grunge, I can see its possibilities now that I’ve tried it.
What do you think of my card? I’d love to hear your comments.
Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy, and happy stamping!
We had the pleasure of having several couples visit us on the island for a week-long celebration of a college graduation. The week was filled with sight-seeing, laughter, and friendship. I hope this card reminds them of the island and the special time we spent together.
- Colors of Island Indigo, Naturals Ivory, and Pool Party spark thoughts of water and sand.
- Thank You using a classic font never goes out of style.
