Today’s card was inspired by the sketch challenge at Create with Connie & Mary:
Angles on cards are usually difficult me – I’m a straight-up kinda gal; however, this sketch encouraged me to move outside my comfort range and go for it. It also allowed me to play with 2 new stamp sets I just received: Painted Petals and Simply Wonderful. As you can see, I took a bit of liberty with the sketch and replaced the 3 dots with flowers.
- Leaves and flowers from the Painted Petals stamp set are stamped in Wild Wasabi and Wisteria Wonder.
- A strip of washi tape adds a bright spot to the card.
- The sentiment from the Simply Wonderful stamp set is stamped in Strawberry Slush and the small flower from the same set is colored with Wild Wasabi and Wisteria Wonder markers and then stamped.
- A panel of Wisteria Wonder and a banner of Strawberry Slush are added to a Daffodil Delight card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Enjoy, and happy stamping!
